The quiz carries on: it runs on your laptop and the pub’s Wi-Fi, not the internet. A phone that loses its connection rejoins by itself with its team’s score and answers intact, or with one tap of Join if it was gone for more than half a minute.

If a phone dies, a teammate joins on their own phone under the same team name and carries on with the team’s score.

Yes, any time, from your Qwizworks account, by an owner or someone allowed to buy, and the new plan starts straight away. Moving up keeps every result for longer. Moving down deletes results older than the smaller plan keeps, and you’re told before you confirm.

A monthly plan you cancel runs to the end of the month you’ve paid for, and your account then goes back to Warm-up. Pack nights you hold stay yours, a quiz that has started always runs to its end, and writing quizzes and practice quizzes stay free.

Studio saves the quiz at every step. If the quiz screen crashes, Studio reopens it where it was and the screen says Resuming the quiz. If the laptop itself goes down, open Studio again and it offers to carry on from where you were.

Join the pub’s Wi-Fi, then point the phone’s camera at the QR code on the screen. Nothing to download, no account to make: the team picks its name and plays. For an online quiz there’s also a short code to type in.

The Answerpad app, or any up-to-date browser with nothing to download. In the pub the phone joins the pub’s Wi-Fi; for an online quiz it needs the internet.

No. Teams play as guests under the name they choose. Only you and the people you invite to your Qwizworks account sign in.

On Android, from the Answerpad link on Qwizworks’ Downloads page, which anyone can open, so a team can install it from a QR code you show. On iPhone it is coming to the App Store. Any phone’s browser plays without it.

Teams are guests with no account, and give an email only if your quiz asks for one. Anyone on your account who deletes their own account has their personal data erased.

What is held and why is in the privacy policy.

For as long as your plan keeps them, from one month on Warm-up to a year on the larger plans, and then they are deleted.
